Thank you for stopping by my blog and the One World One Heart Event. What is the event? Lisa from A Whimsical Bohemian is hosting the event. One World One Heart is a worldwide event for bloggers only. It gives all those who blog a chance to meet and mingle and form connections with those they may not have otherwise met from all over the world. In the past 4 years this event has grown to over 1,000 participants with lasting friendships (and even one love connection) formed along the way. Think of it as a GIGANTIC open house allowing you to travel without ever leaving your home........going from blog to blog(in various countries) seeing the wonder each one has created and meeting all the fabulous people behind those blogs. As a bonus each blogger participant will offer up a "door prize or prizes"....just for dropping by, saying hello and seeing their world. It's really that easy.
Who is Chocolate & Croissants? The name should say it all, I am mother to two adorable kitties who loves everything about France. This is where Chocolate and Croissants gets it's name from. I adore croissants and can never have enough when I am fortunate enough to be in France. Chocolat really should have been my middle name. I am a huge fan of chocolate. Mix together a chocolate in a croissant and I am in eating heaven. Cooking is one of my favorite past times. Although when your household consists of only two adults that is a a lot of dessert to each.
Reading is another one of my hobbies. I love collecting cookbooks. I am reluctant to admit I have cookbooks I have never made a recipe from. Maybe I should call myself a cookbook hoarder. One of my goals this year is to make a recipe from every cookbook I own. GIven I enjoy reading so much I also share my books with you on the blog. Sometimes when I am really creative I will give you a book and a good recipe to enjoy the book with.
My husband and I have two very adorable kitties. They are little twins that everyday put a smile on my face.
So for stopping by between now and February 17 I am giving away this tea towel with the Eiffel tower.
The only rule is that you must have an active blog to participate. Just make sure to leave your email. For an extra entry you can feed the kitties in the upper right hand corner. They are hungry so you may feed them daily.
Cooking is one of my passions in life. Enjoying good food, pastries, chocolate and everything the French have to savor is my other. This should come as a surprise given my father chose my name after reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
I am a voracious reader and collector of cookbooks. Little did I know that all my grade school French lessons would come in handy one day.
