Dreaming of France

Given all the snow that North America has received in the last week I thought it fitting to show Paris in a rare snowfall.

The above photo is a view of the Orsay Museum.  I am not sure what possessed me to take a boat cruise on the Seine at night in the freezing weather.  I met some fellow Canadians and we just huddled together.

This dog is not only warm but fashionable.

Dogs frolicking in the snow.  They were quite enjoying it.

Walking through the Luxembourg Gardens.

I love the street shot with the scooters lined up covered with snow and the woman in red with her umbrella. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme

Love the snow covered shots especially (but we have more than enough snow here - 2 feet)

I love Paris any time of the year-all of France. Thanks for showing. Makes me feel like I'm walking the streets and enjoying the views.

I especially love the last shot; reminescent of Caillebotte somehow. It must be the umbrella.

I am always hungry for photos of Pris in the snow! I love the shot of Luxembourg Gardens and especially the one of the narrow street accented in rouge!

What great shots! I'd love to see Paris in the snow, and can just imagine how delicious it would be popping into a salon de the for a bone warming chocolat chaud.
