Saint Chapelle is truly one of Paris's gems. The stained glass is just stunning. The secret to enjoying St. Chapelle is to visit it on a sunny day; when the rays of sun can shine through the panes. I have been fortunate to have been able to visit it on many occasions. I must say I have never been disappointed. On my last visit to the chapel I went to a concert. The nighttime experience is completely different from seeing the chapel during the day. If you have never been during the day I would not suggest only going at night.
The setting for an evening concert was just stunning. The chapel was delicately illuminated.
Given the chance you should visit St. Chapelle.

Saint Chapelle is one of my very favourite places in Paris. It's so much more astonishing than Notre Dame, even though it's so much bigger. When we visited there last trip, my son was 9 and he was moved to take photos for the first time ever. It really is a jaw dropping experience walking up the stairs. I'm planning to visit again this year, and hoping to get to a concert. We went to a gospel concert in Eglise St Roche last time- it was extraordinary.
Esme, I could have written your post because I say the exact thing about St. Chapelle. Go during the day and stand in the blue light upstairs. My husband and I lucked into a concert one evening and the flickering lights, the music, the soaring ceilings. Loved it.
Thanks for playing along. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme

Will have to go to this church the next time I visit Paris! Stunning photos!
Oh! These are absolutely heavenly!
Impossible not to be overwhelmed by the glorious colors and light. I would love to be under that roof one day.
Esme- this would be such a beautiful place to visit anytime-- I can only imagine how those gorgeous windows shine when the sun is upon them. These photos are just amazing-- such colors---
